What is the Delight Threshold?感動分岐点

They may never notice. They may notice a year from now. Even so, we design the chord they will one day need. In the territory where that chord is reached, expectations are exceeded and surprise turns into delight. We call that point the Delight Threshold.

Design what no one has noticed yet

  1. 01

    Sense the customer’s future

Not today’s request, but where they are heading. We face the history and convictions of the business to sense a future the customer has not yet put into words.

  2. 02

Ask how to make them glad

“If only such a service existed.” We stand in the customer’s shoes and think hard about what would strike a chord with them.

  3. 03

Build in what will one day be needed

Even if no one has asked for it yet, it will surely be needed one day. We fold that conviction into the design in advance.
